ELD Strategies
You can integrate strategies in each of your lessons to support our ELD students, but these are good strategies for ALL students! Check out this video demonstrating Reconstructing a Text. Lisa and Alison learned this strategy with WestEd a few years ago, please see either of us if you want assistance implementing the strategies from this video in your classroom.
AP Guernsey emailed a list of all students who need to complete MAP testing for the Fall. Please complete all MAP tests on Monday or Tuesday (10/16-17). This data is critical to inform your instruction. More information will be coming on how to read the reports next week!
Culture of Universal Achievement
A culture of Universal Achievement takes place when the critical mass of the staff believes that each student is capable of meeting academic standards in reading, writing, and math AND that the school has the power to make that opportunity a reality.
