Week of September 11th-15th


Welcome to the 5th week of school!!! 

Thank you all for your dedication to our students and school! It's been a blast seeing everyone dressed up and interacting with the kids during Spirit Week! Remember to tag @lisalisalew and @alisonguernsey on Twitter so we can see the amazing things happening in your calss!

This week, focus on writing observable Learning Objectives!
Objectives should be:
Specific
Measurable
Attainable
Results-Focused
Time-Focused

Bad Objective:
Students will know the elements of the periodic table.

Good Objective:
Students will be able to categorize the elements of the periodic table to explain how they are different from one another.

Nightmare on Puberty Street Permission Slips are DUE NOW!!!!

Please turn in all permission slips to Heidi as soon as possible! We can accept these up until the time of the performance on Thursday September 14th!

Friday Night Lights Mixer/Game

Let's get together to attend one of the cross-town football games and cheer on our local high school students. Complete the following survey to vote on which game you would like to attend!

Thank you to all the STAFF that showed up to our first Mixer of the Year!  We had a great time getting to know one another!  We will let you know when our October Mixer will be.  Maybe we will be painting with Mr. Batongbacal or bowling at STARS.

High school: Freshmen year she was a Song Girl (Dance Team).  She was in many plays and was part of a traveling singing group called Young Californian.
Career if not a Secretary: Graphic Designer
Would like to be on this game show: Family Feud
Passion: Singing, music, and family
Fun Facts: She was Miss Hayward.  She is very crafty!
