Week of September 18th-22nd


Thank you for another great week, Staff!  We appreciate your patience, hard work and dedication towards our Kiddos! It's been great to see so many of you interacting with your students during passing periods and lunch! 


Learning Objectives are SO important! 

Learning objectives let students know what they are supposed to learn during the lesson and helps guide teacher's instruction! We've seen some great boards with objectives! Here is an example:

Chief Mattos

Our District Principal for a Day went extremely well! Police Chief Mattos had a BLAST with our Scholars!  Thank you to everybody who made him feel welcome on our campus!  We look forward to partnering with the Police Department for future events on campus!

Angel Dean, Resource Teacher

  • Nickname: Angel or Yeng (family's endearment)
  • High school: He studied in a Catholic school called Our Lady of the Sacred Heart. He was a columnist in his high school paper, director of the Drama Guild, and won different awards such as the poetry writing contests.  Also, he love to dance and sing and do extra curricular activities.
  • Career if Not an Educator: Aspiring actor, Doctor or a Chef
  • Would like to be on this game show: Name That Tune
  • Passion: Cooking, singing, teaching drama, dancing and coaching aspiring singers. 
  • Fun Fact:  He was on a few commercials in the late 80's and 90's (soft drink and bar soap), theater actor during the 90's and early 2000.  He was a Professor on six Universities in Manila.
